Web Security Manager

The Alert Logic Managed Web Application Firewall (WAF) Out-of-Band web application firewall (WAF) monitors your web traffic and logs web violations but does not block any requests. WAF options appear in the Alert Logic console as Web App IDS.

Alert Logic Web Security Manager provides two offerings:

  • Web Security Manager—Out-of-Band web application firewall (WAF) that monitors your web traffic and logs web violations but does not block any requests.
  • Managed WAF—Inline WAF that actively blocks attacks. For more information about Managed WAF, see Managed WAF Release Notes.
