Email Security Summary Dashboard
The Email Security Summary dashboard provides security content collected from Mimecast logs. Alert Logic also provides Mimecast observations that you can find in Get Started with Search and create correlations from these observations. For more information about how to create a correlation, see Improved Correlations and Search. You must have a Mimecast collector instance previously configured in the Application Registry. This dashboard includes visuals of the following data:
- Recipients for malicious emails, of malware, and attachments
- Senders of malicious emails, of malware, and attachments
- Malware strains detected
- Malicious emails allowed
- Watchlist senders
The Email Security Summary dashboard is only offered to Managed Detection and Response Professional and Enterprise customers. You must have a Mimecast collector configured to see data in the Email Security Summary dashboard. To learn more about how to configure your Mimecast collector, see Configure Mimecast Log Collector.
The Email Security Summary dashboard is part of the Dashboards feature. For more information about Dashboards, see Dashboards.
Access the Email Security Summary dashboard
To access the Email Security Summary dashboard, in the Alert Logic console, click the menu icon (
), and then click 
Dashboards. Click the drop-down menu on the top left to see the list of available dashboards, and then click Email Security Summary.
Email Security Summary visuals
For visuals with information in a list, you can click Export to CSV to export the data in CSV format.
Select date range
You can filter the date range you want to see in the visuals. Choose 7d, 14d, or 30d to view data for the last 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. You can also click the calendar icon (
) to select a customized date range with a specific start date.
Top Recipients Malicious Email
This visual provides a list of the top targeted victim email recipients and the counts for malicious emails.
Top Senders of Malicious Email
This visual provides a list of the top malicious email senders and the counts for malicious emails.
Top Senders Watchlist IP
This visual provides a list of the top email attack sender from the Mimecast watchlist IPs.
Top Senders of Attachments
This visual provides a list of the top email attackers with attachments and the counts of emails with attachments.
Top Recipients of Attachments
This visual provides a list of the top email victim recipients that were sent emails with attachments and the counts of received emails with attachments.
Top Malware Strain
This visual provides a list of malware strains that were sent and the count of those strains.
Allowed Malicious Email
This visual provides a list of malicious emails that were allowed and the counts of received malicious emails.
Top Recipients of Malware
This visual provides a list of the top email victim recipients that opened malicious emails and the counts of the victim recipients.
